AT&T NumberSync: One Mobile Number, Multiple Devices

AT&T's new NumberSync feature allows a single mobile number to be used across a number of devices, including watches, fitness bands and other devices.

“This means in the future you’ll be able to send and receive texts, as well as make and receive calls, from your tablet or wearable using the same number,” said David Christopher, AT&T chief marketing officer. “This will work when your smartphone isn’t with you, nearby or even powered on.”

“Your devices don’t need to be near each other and NumberSync will work even if your primary phone is turned off or disconnected from the network,” sid Christopher.
