2015 WRC Will Set Agenda 2019 WRC, Relating to Use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles for Internet Access

As important as the upcoming November 2015 World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-15) will be for fifth generation networks and license-exempt services,  the 2019 meeting arguably will be more important for use of unmanned aerial vehicles for Internet access.

Spectrum to be released for 5G mobile and license-exempt networks are on the agenda for 2015.

But the 2015 meeting also might set an agenda for the 2019 conference that would enable new wireless services and increase broadband access using high-altitude, solar-powered planes and new generations of communication satellites.
