Will 5G Produce Job Growth in the U.S. Mobile Industry?

It always is possible to make predictions about the economic impact of any industry or technology. That is true of 5G as well. 

But whatever 5G does to support broader economic growth, it might not actually produce job growth in the U.S. mobile industry.  Job growth in the U.S. mobile industry hit a plateau in 2001 and began a decline about 2007.
