FCC Ends Auction of 37-GHz, 39-GHz and 47-GHz 5G Spectrum

The Federal Communications Commission auction of 3,400 megahertz of 5G spectrum
Raised $7,561,724,774 in total proceeds.

Prices for 37 GHz and 39 GHz spectrum reached prices of $0.009613 per MHz-POP. Spectrum at 47 GHz finished at $0.007110 per MHz-POP.

Those of you familiar with MHz-POp prices for low-band or mid-band spectrum might be surprised at the low price per megaHertz POP, but that is because there is so much spectrum being auctioned.
