Millimeter wave frequencies really are different. There being a direct relationship between frequency and capacity, the difference between 4G in the mid-band and 5G using millimeter wave frequencies is stark: as much as a 200 times increase over LTE.
Also, some believe 5G will have a key role to play in “digital transformation.”
