CableLabs wants to test millimeter wave spectrum, and has applied to the Federal Communications Commission to conduct trials of 5G transmissions at the 27.5 GHz to 28.35 GHz and 71 GHz to 75 GHz frequencies.
CableLabs wants to conduct tests at three sites in Colorado starting July 8, 2016.
