Android Has Fixed Malware Issues

Malware no longer is an issue for Android devices and the Android ecosystem, a huge change. Google reports that “potentially harmful applications” in 2014 were found on less than one percent of all Android devices.

Fewer than 0.15 percent of all apps downloaded from Google Play had a potential harmful app installed.

Devices using U.S. English devices have a PHA installed on about 0.4 percent of devices, which is about 0.2 percent below the worldwide average. Devices using the Chinese language have a PHA rate of about 0.8 percent. Russian language devices have three percent to four percent PHA rates.
