Global Mobile Phone Sales Will Decline 1.6% in 2016, Gartner Says

Global mobile phone sales will dip 1.6 percent in 2016, but grow again in 2017, Gartner now forecasts.

Gartner, Inc. said worldwide combined shipments for devices (PCs, tablets, ultramobiles and mobile phones) are expected to decline three percent in 2016. This will mark the second consecutive year of decline. The global devices market fell by 0.75 percent in 2015.
