While we shouldn't make too much of the data, it certainly is the case that Apple iPhone sales are charging ahead as iPad sales decline. Some would argue that many consumers are prioritizing: an iPhone simply gets the first set of discretionary income when any new device gets considered.
Others might argue that growing phablet form factors and use of smartphones for content consumption are leading users to substitute smartphones for tablets and PCs.
